While small, you can still find the essential adventuring necessities in the town—you can find various inns, equipment shops supplied by the mainland, and of course taverns.

Tista huffed as he shut the door to his shop, put out the lamps and candles illuminating the inside, then finally shut himself in the small bedroom at the back of the building. A single lamp flickered at this bedside adding a warm glow to the snug space. The sound of night was brought in by a gentle breeze through the small, open window on the opposite wall. Tista plopped himself onto the bed butt first before letting his upper half fall onto the soft cotton blanket draped across. He yawned stretching his arms as far as they could go above his head and tensing the muscles in his legs. It felt amazing as he suddenly released everything at once - letting himself sink into the bed further. He remained still for a moment tempted to fall asleep right there, but he couldn't; he was almost done with something important. Tista grabbed his oversized pack from off the floor and onto the bed. It was time to finally make some modifications to it.

It had been some time now since Tista had started to adventure with Pickpen. He had grabbed and held for dear life onto the reclusive creature since he met him and his enchanted maps and it finally seemed as if they were a team now. Tista's mind has been too preoccupied with the dungeon lately - the main reason why his money is nearly gone. He beat himself over not at least taking advantage of the past few weeks. Tons of new adventurers coming in and a dungeon diving event upcoming was the perfect opportunity to set up advertising or maybe even get some new quality wares set out to draw in prospecting customers.

It was now the night of the event and he did none of those things. No one new came in.

Truth is he was much more unmotivated by work then usual. He spent most of the time in the dungeon and if he wasn't there he was thinking about it. He'd gotten a few sales from some regular parties, but it was rare for anyone else to be a patron so he spent a lot of time in the back creating tools to bring into the dungeon with him. Tista was more dedicated to the dungeon now than he was when he first came to this island. He had a lot more reason to be: he felt like he had gotten a step closer to being able to fulfill his dream of using magic and he had Pick to take care of. A gentle wind brushed past him, ruffling through his hair and tickling his cheeks - the lamp flickered. Tista wished he could bring Pick up here - its so beautiful compared to the dungeon, but he knew that the half-foot was not ready to do so yet.

Finally done! Tista inspected his bag and the new pouch he had made inside of it. It was weird seeing it completely devoid the usual supplies and random trinkets he hoarded within it. And now he was giving a lot of that storage space up for this new augment, but it was going to completely worth it. He had taken measurements of Pickpen before and he was sure this would be the exact right size for him to sit comfortable in on Tista's back. He smiled to himself, proud even if it was more simple than his usual work. He wanted to show this to Pick immediately and have him test it out. Tista rummaged grabbed a sack from off the bedside table and took out a few of his remaining coins to buy some fresh bread with.
